My daughter's amazing Bridals!!!



My heart is full today! 

Life is full of heartache and pain, but today I choose to concentrate on all of the blessings that are in my life.

My focus today… my daughter!

My little baby girl is not so little anymore. She will be married this Friday, May 11, 2012.  How did that happen?  Wasn’t it just yesterday that I was up at Primary Children’s Hospital praying and hoping for a miracle?

I got just that, a miracle!  I am so thankful for my sweet little girl; she will always be MY little girl. 

Sometimes as a Mother, I think, did I do everything I could to teach her to be the best woman she can be?  Make the best choices? Did she turn out the way I wanted her to? 

My answer, YES!  Megan has made me so proud.  From a 1 pound 5 ounce baby girl, to a beautiful, smart, loving girl… she has made me proud! 

I am excited for this new chapter in Megan’s life.   She will make an amazing wife and someday Mother. 

I hope through my example and her Nana’s example, she will become everything and more of what I know she can be!

I love you Megan, here is to a wonderful life full of all the blessings that you deserve!

Ward/Neighborhood Shower!

We have the best Ward!  I am so thankful for the love and support that we have in our Ward.  Not only has it been shown through the kindness shown by throwing Megan a Bridal Shower, but when the going gets tough for anyone in our neighborhood, our Ward family is there for you!  My cup runneth over by the sweet friendships that I am lucky enough to have with all of these wonderful women! 

As we were talking at the shower, some of them were asking me about the wedding plans and what they can do to help.  I said, “We decided to get a package deal at the reception hall because it was a little bit easier for me.  Since my Mom has passed away and I don’t have any sisters’ I thought that would make it a little less stressful”.  My neighbor Lorna said, “Wait a minute, you have a room full of Sisters right here!”.  I don’t think she will know how much that meant to me.  We were so lucky to be able to move into this neighborhood, the kindness is so appreciated!



Megan's Shower!

This was such a great Shower that my Sisters'-In-Law gave for Megan. The food was SO good, Chicken Teriyaki Pasta Salad (Delish), Yummy Sandwiches, Fruit (of course with Dip), Refreshing Punch and an amazing Lemonade Cake!

Megan received some wonderful gifts. We have a pretty great family, I must say!
